Simon was born in Germany, but by the time he had graduated high school he had already lived in Germany, Denmark, England and finally Switzerland. There his passion for the mountains was born. But rumours of more snow drew him to British Columbia, Canada where he also studied Adventure Tourism.
After graduating and four years of guiding ski trips all over BC, he had heard one too many rumours about “Japow”, Japanese powder snow. Three years later and he is still here, because, “It just doesn’t stop snowing!”
In the summer Simon guides canoe expeditions in Northern Canada and Alaska or is attempting to surf somewhere nice and warm.
