Nicole Lejdeby

Nicole’s Story:

I’m from Stockholm, Sweden, and started skiing when I was a crazy little 3 year-old with no boundaries. My passion for skiing grew when I discovered backcountry and powder skiing for the first time. That passion guided me to become an instructor and I graduated from the Scandinavian College of Travel and Tourism, a 2 year ski instructor education. I have now been a ski instructor for over 6 seasons and been doing back-to-back seasons between Sweden, Norway and New Zealand which made it possible to ski all year round. I’ve also skied in the European alps and of course in Niseko, Japan. The skiing world has a lot to offer and my skiing life has given me plenty of experiences and knowledge about different cultures and languages which I treasure dearly. My mind is mostly drawn to powder snow, and I’ll bet that this winter is gonna be one for the history books!

I´m also currently doing my Master of Science in Industrial and Management Engineering with focus on Industrial Marketing and Communication in northern Sweden. I mean, since it´s possible to vary skiing with a masters degree, I might as well go for it! When I´m not skiing or studying, I play volleyball!

My flexibility and motivation will hopefully guide you to your next level, and I’ll challenge you enough to help you develop as a skier while showing you some great spots in Niseko!
